Trivia Night 2

Missed our first trivia night? No worries – we're back for round two! Join as we dive into all of Nick’s favorites: movies, music, sports, and everything in between! Bring your friends, show off your smarts, and enjoy a night full of fun and laughs. And this time, we’ve got a special guest host – the one and only JJ Curis! 🙌*Free to play trivia. Your reservation is your team sign up (max 8 people). One reservation per team. Food and beverages not included in reservation.
Game Structure: 2 1-hour games (6:00 – 7:00 pm & 7:00 – 8:00 pm). Each game will feature 2 rounds (8 questions) and 1 bonus round. All answers will be submitted via mobile phone by one person on the team.
Game Theme: Pop culture trivia based on Nick Gilbert’s favorite things!

3rd Annual Bow Tie Night
The Gilly Project hosted its 3rd Annual Bow Tie Night at a Cleveland Cavaliers game at Rocket Arena, creating an unforgettable evening filled with energy and community spirit. In collaboration with the Cavs and the newly opened Gilly’s in the arena, TGP organized a special pregame celebration for families affected by NF, along with dedicated NF community supporters. The entire arena was decked out with Bow Ties and TGP gear, setting the stage for an electrifying atmosphere. Throughout the game, announcers and programming spotlighted Nick, NF, and the mission of The Gilly Project, further amplifying awareness. Capping off the night in thrilling fashion, Nick’s infectious energy was in full force as the Cavaliers secured their 50th win of the season in an intense overtime victory.

Gilly Project Trivia Night
The Gilly Project hosted it’s first trivia night focused on none other than the favorite things of Nick. We covered everything from Nick’s favorite music and movies to food and sports, and of course Nick’s picks with the Cavs! The winners took home some custom Gilly Project merch and a Gilly’s Clubhouse gift card.

Benefit - NF Gala
This year The Gilly Project hosted an activation at the BeNeFit XII afterglow. Guests participated in Nick’s Pick, a lottery ball game! In the spirit of Nick, your energy and excitement made it an unforgettable experience and we can’t wait to see all you in your custom Gilly Project gear!
We’re beyond grateful to everyone who supported beNeFit XII, which raised nearly $9 MILLION to continue the mission to end NF! This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible generosity of our passionate supporters. A heartfelt thank you to all who made it happen! The journey continues, and we can’t wait to see what we can achieve next.

Oscar Lewis Marathon
Oscar Louis @oscarlsuris absolutely powered through the Detroit Free Press Marathon and in doing so, helped raise over $13,000 contributed to NF Forward!!

Survior Fantasy Football
We came back with fantasy football again, but this year it was a survival leagues! FREE to enter, but a donation to NF forward was encouraged. Our winners won Cleveland Cavaliers court side tickets, Play in the Rocket Mortgage Classic Pro-Am, and a 1-of-1 Nick Gilbert custom Shinola Runwell watch. Thank you for everyone who participated.

Bow Tie Night
Bow Tie Night was presented by The Gilly Project at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse during the game against the New York Knicks. This special evening honored Nick Gilbert’s life, legacy, and contributions to the Cavs organization, while raising awareness for Neurofibromatosis (NF).
The Cavs brought the night to life through activations including “What’s Not to Like?” shooting shirts worn by players, “What’s Not to Like?” rally towels given to every fan, memorable content shown throughout game presentation, Cavs social media channels and broadcast, and more. The team hosted a special halftime show with an unveil of a permanent banner in the FieldHouse rafters, where Nick will forever live.❤️💛
It is hard to put into words how special this night was for us, our family, Nick’s friends, those battling NF, and those helping fight it. We will never ever ever ever forget this night, and every single time we step into the FieldHouse, we will look at that banner and not only think of Nick, but also feel an overwhelming amount of gratitude for all of the people that helped make this night happen.
We love you Nick!! You’re in the rafters right where you belong!!

Benefit NF Gala
$10,538,325 AND COUNTING raised at The beNeFit XI for the mission to end NF. We feel so incredibly grateful for all the support. It means more to us than we can explain. Our own Nick Gilbert was the 2023 Strength & Honor Award Recipient.
We know Nicky was looking down smiling and quivering his lip at all the nice things said about him all night ❤️

Fantasy Football
This year we started The Nick Gilbert Fantasy Football Leagues. A massive thank you to all who are participating and donating. We raised $35,700 in donations for NF forward.

Rocket Mortgage Classic Bow Tie Day
On Thursday, June 29, each caddy bib featured an image of the Rocket Mortgage Classic bow tie on the front. The back of the bib displayed the name “Nick Gilbert” in place of each player’s name. Upon the conclusion of play, players signed each bib, which were given to NF Forward to raise funds for NF research.
Bow Tie Day at the Rocket Mortgage Classic celebrated the life of Nick and raised awareness and funds toward finding a cure for NF. We are grateful to our friends and partners at the PGA TOUR for sharing our commitment to this important cause.

Cavs Bow Tie Night
The Cleveland Cavaliers home game against the Philadelphia 76ers was the first “Cavs Bow Tie Night” raising funds for NF Forward.
The wine and gold bow tie, the emblem of the “Bow Tie Campaign,” has been a highly visible part of the Cavs identity this season. It appears on the player warm-up jackets and the lapels of broadcasters, Cavs coaches and front office members, and is integrated into the game presentation to symbolize the strength and courage that Nick and all those impacted by the disease display every day.
